Josef Simpser
Josef Simpser, Administrator, is honored to be serving the Huntington Hills community.
Josef was born and raised here in Nassau County, Long Island. He attended CUNY – Queens College for his bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and West Texas A&M University for his MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Management.
Josef began working in healthcare in 2006 as an EMT. He began volunteering with the American Heart Association teaching important life-saving techniques. Through lectures and demonstrations, he was recruited to join Montefiore Medical Center’s education department where he served as the Director of Cardiac Education leading the health system to new heights in protecting, responding, and addressing cardiac events. Josef later shifted to The ARC of Westchester to support and work with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. In 2015, Josef began working in long-term care facilities. Over the past number of years, he has had the pleasure of serving nursing homes and assisted living facilities helping them achieve new heights in their overall care, quality, and service.
When not at Huntington Hills, you can find Josef enjoying time with his wife and children relaxing, solving puzzles, or playing the piano together.

Our Passport™ approach to better health is a promise to deliver the best care and safely transition individuals throughout their healthcare journey. Passport™ connects our residents with the right clinical and rehabilitation care while they’re staying with us in order to best support their recovery and treatment. We also extend this continuum of care beyond our walls to ensure residents achieve their care goals once they return home.
Passport to Home
As part of our Passport™ approach, we offer a post-discharge transitional care program called Passport to Home.
Passport to Home goals:
- Close the gap between care at facilities and care at home
- Ensure patients are fully supported throughout their transition to, and once home
- Improve access to providers in the community to support recovery goals
- Reduce preventable hospitalizations
