Life Happens at Huntington Hills

Huntington Hills is a proud member of National Health Care Associates. As part of the National family, we not only offer short-term and long-term care services, but we are able to connect our residents and their families with a community of providers across the care continuum. This approach offers the full support needed for our guests to become a better, brighter, and stronger version of themselves.

Josef was born and raised here in Nassau County, Long Island. He attended CUNY – Queens College for his bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and West Texas A&M University for his MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Management.

Josef began working in healthcare in 2006 as an EMT. He began volunteering with the American Heart Association teaching important life-saving techniques. Through lectures and demonstrations, he was recruited to join Montefiore Medical Center’s education department where he served as the Director of Cardiac Education leading the health system to new heights in protecting, responding, and addressing cardiac events. Josef later shifted to The ARC of Westchester to support and work with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. In 2015, Josef began working in long-term care facilities. Over the past number of years, he has had the pleasure of serving nursing homes and assisted living facilities helping them achieve new heights in their overall care, quality, and service.

  • Improve access to providers in the community to support recovery goals
  • Reduce preventable hospitalizations
